A rapidly growing technology and cybersecurity consultancy is seeking a Security Consultant to join its team. This position offers exposure to diverse clients and industries, providing the opportunity to develop practical expertise across a broad range of security frameworks, privacy standards, and cloud environments.

The Role

As a Security Consultant, you will assess client environments, identify risks, and help design and implement frameworks. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, conduct assessments, prepare reports, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role is varied, hands-on, and ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of information security frameworks such as NIST and SOC 2.
• Evaluate security controls and make recommendations to strengthen their processes.
• Develop and present security documentation, policies, and reports
• Advise clients on privacy obligations, including GDPR and data protection best practices.
• Contribute to audit preparation, incident response planning, and security awareness initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in cybersecurity or information security consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.

Desirable Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP.
• Cloud security experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Background in information security consulting or audit.
